At Gerber Embroidery (Pty) Ltd, we believe that every stitch tells a story.
Based in Johannesburg, we specialise in high-quality custom embroidery for businesses, schools, sports teams, and individuals who value professionalism, durability, and attention to detail. What started as a passion for branding and quality workmanship has grown into a dedicated embroidery service focused on excellence and reliability.
Gerber Embroidery was founded with a simple goal: to provide beautifully finished embroidery that enhances your brand and stands the test of time.
With our in-house embroidery machine, we are able to maintain strict quality control, fast turnaround times, and consistent results. Bringing production in-house allows us to ensure that every item leaving our workshop meets our standards — and yours.
For the most accurate results, please supply:
* Vector files: AI, EPS, or PDF (preferred)
* High-resolution files: PNG or JPEG (minimum 300dpi)
Vector files allow for the cleanest digitising and sharpest embroidery finish.
If you require embroidery of wording only, please provide:
* The exact spelling (including capital letters)
* The font name (if specific)
* The thread colour required
* The size of the embroidery (in mm or cm)
* The placement on the garment (e.g., left chest, centre front, sleeve, etc.)
If you do not have a specific font, we can recommend suitable embroidery-friendly options.
For logos including text and graphics:
* Avoid screenshots or low-resolution images
*Ensure all text is outlined in vector files
* Specify any special thread colours or finishes
* All artwork will be digitised for embroidery (a once-off digitising fee may apply).
*A digital preview will be sent for approval before production begins.
* If a logo needs to be redrawn or recreated due to low-quality or unsuitable artwork, an artwork/redraw fee will apply.
* Production only starts once artwork and placement are approved.
